While touring with Los Amigos Invisibles in Bogotá Colombia I had the pleasure and honor to be invited to the studio and record on a track for the upcoming solo album by singer-sonwriter, activist and founder of the world renowned band Los Aterciopelados, Andrea Echeverri. Such project it’s been co-produced by the legendary British, Colombian-based producer Richard Blair (Sidestepper). So I squeezed a few hours between breakfast and sound check to lay some Cajón, Darbuka and Pandeiro…

This guys have been together for 20 years touring and bringing their non-stop “some times two-hours and change” set to every corner of the world… It is as fun as serious, as a gym work out, but yet you get to have a Whiskey on the rocks by your side and zip it as quick as you get a chance.

It was a great pleasure and a honor to play with these cats!!!
